Take Time To Rest!

Hello!  Hello!  Hello!  Like many of you I am wondering why time moves so very quickly.  We celebrated my Grandson's fifth birthday!  Two glorious days at LEGOLAND was where he chose to celebrate.  Seems like he hasn't been on earth for five glorious years. And now he is old enough to sit in my workshop and pretend to be me.

Yes, I know I am also moving slower since my 65th birthday a few months ago. Most times I am retracing my steps to find something that was never lost.  Or, repeating a conversation that was already told.  "Did I tell you this already?" takes up more time than you can imagine.  LOL.

Halloween is celebrated today by many, but my house will be dark to deter the trick or treaters.  Tomorrow is the beginning of National Diabetes Month and as a diabetic, I decided this year not to eat leftover snicker bars, baby ruths, chocolate bars, suckers.....They are all soooo delicious especially the sweet ones below.  Just one of my weaknesses.
Love these!

October is Breast Cancer month, therefore I took time to talk to survivers like me and the newly diagnosed. I wrote letters for "Girls Love Mail" for encouragement.  Please take a look at the website www.girlslovemail.com if you want to hand write encouraging letters too.  As a 14 year survivor, ladies I ask that you please take time to do your self exams and schedule your mammograms when due.

In my spare time I experimented with minis to create some new designs, organized my workshop,  purchased new fabric and caught up on some blog reading. I also took some time to rest.
Minis I've created.

"Then God blessed the seventh day and made it holy, because on it he rested from all the work of creating that he had done." Genesis 2:3 NIV

Thank you for stopping by to read this post without a give-a-way in progress.  Thank you for following.

Hugs, Love, Kisses and Prayers to all!
